Could The Redness At The Back Be Due To Long Term Exposure To Snow?

I live in a ski town and the bottom of my back kept on freezing (2-3 months ago) because of snow caught between my jacket and pants. It scabbed and then returned to normal color (except rough) but now I notice that it has become red, raised and seems attached underneath (not like a pimple or mole). Is this gonna affect me long term?
