Could The Sharp Twinges In Cervix And Sleepiness Be Due To New Contraceptive Pills?

I started a new birth control pill 2 weeks ago, right after my period ended. I did have intercourse for the following week. I'm having occasional sharp twinges near my cervix, and I'm feeling a little more emotional and sleepy...is it just my body getting used to the new bcp is is it possible I'm pregnant?
