Could The Swelling In Lymph Glands Be Due To Piercing Of Tongue?

Hi. I got my tongue pierced on Monday, all is fine it's clean and i have been taking thorough care of it. No signs of infection just the usual swelling and slight soreness but today my glands under my chin are raised and tender. I had a slightly bad chest/cough before I got it done but didn't feel unwell and had no other symptoms of illness. Is the swollen glands normal?
