Could The Swelling In Lymph Nodes Be Due To Candida Albicans?

I have had swollen lymph nodes on and off for a couple of months. They come and go, usually just feel tender for a couple days only. I recently went to the doctors for the first time with this problem and went through all the blood test/HIV test/mono test and it was all negative. I'm waiting to go to the ENT specialist and get an ultrasound and possibly a biopsy... I was just wondering can candida albicans cause lymph nodes to swell up? I asked my doctor if an infection in the vaginal area can cause it, but she said no. My appt for the gynecologist isn't until next week, but I believe I have the s/s of candida albicans and am just now getting it checked out... so could that be a cause of my on and off swollen lymph nodes?
