Could The White Spot On The Throat Be Due To Strep?

i have discovered a white spot on my throat. I am 49 yrs old and throughout my life I have had strept and tonsillitis - As an adult, I have gained allergies and sinus issues (which have been bothering me for about a month) so should I worry about getting strept again or could this be a result of the allergy/sinus
