Could Triangular Spot Visible In Chest X Ray Be Due To Pneumonia?

I had a chest xray 10 days ago and there was a triangular spot on the right lung at the centre where the two lungs join. I was told it was probably pneunomia and he gave me some antibiotics. I went back today and the same triangular shape at the same location is still there. I am now going for an emergency CT scan to see what it is. I leave on holidays for 3 weeks on Feb 12th. My doctor has suggested I not go however i figure if this is my last holiday I"m going anyway. I have chronic luekemia and they have been monitor it for the past 10 years. My lyphocyte count this past monday was higher than it has been in the past 3 years so all is good. I had colon cancer removed about 5 years ago and all is good. I'll deal with the lung thing when it comes.
