Could Using Nuva Ring Cause Hair Thinning?

Hi I have been on the birth control nuva ring for about three months. I stopped it for a month and then got back on it. This is my second month on the birth control since i last stopped using it and I have noticed my hair thinning. I don't know if it is because of the birth control. And if so, should I stop using it?
