Could Vaginal Bleeding During The First Trimester Be A Sign Of Miscarriage?

Hi This is my first pregnancy my husband and I only had to try for a month and we were pregnant right away.

I am 25 and no health issues at all. Never was on birth control and never on any meds. Other than Advil when I would get my period.

I am 7weeks and 4 days pregnant.
I started bleeding about 5 days ago. At first it was brown and than brown pink. Than just pink and than pink red. Now it is red. It was only a little when I would wipe. But just a little ago tonight I felt a gush of blood that was enough to even go through my underwear and pants :/. It's not a big spot. But was straight up blood. I am not feeling any cramping or pains of any sort. I have my first appointment this friday and one already set up from two weeks from than. But could this be a sign of a miscarriage? Should I be worried?
