Could Very Light Bleeding Be My Period, And Is It Safe To Start Ovaa Shield Now?

Hi doctor, after 2 months I got my period. Bleeding reduced when compared to previous periods. Usually I use 4 pads daily in periods. Now even one pad is not fully soaking. I tested from 4th week. I found faint line 2 times.... After that all 4 tests are complete negative. Docter suggested meprate for 7days in 6th week. Is this is period.. Or not...today onwards I need to start ovaa shield. Is this safe. Before that I want to confirm there is no pregennecy right now... Reason behind light bleeeding
