Curious To Know If The Daily Exposure To Smelling Humane

Curious to know if the daily exposure to smelling humane urine is harmful. I have an adult cousin who uses the bathroom on herself and in her bed all day everyday and doesn't bath. It's so bad at times that you can smell the ammonia in the urine. I've gotten nauseous and headaches wondering if I'm being affected by the urine smell?
