Daughter was making casserole in a Pyrex dish. She put it in the oven and then immediately came to ask if it was okay that she put the plastic lid cover on it when she put it in the oven. I said no and we took the lid off. It was probably in the oven less than a minute or two, but the lid was already quite warm to touch. After it cooled, I noticed that a small portion of the edge of lid had started to "ripple." Is the food still safe to eat?
