Dear Doctor, I Am From Chennai, Tamilnadu.. I Had A

Dear Doctor,

I am from Chennai, Tamilnadu.. i had a doubt which want to clarify from you as the doctors are not giving concrete reason for my issue which i faced. I had a tragedy last year january. I was 8 months of II pregnancy. 1st one was C-Section and that was the successful pregnancy and myself and baby were fine. During my second pregnancy, (2 years after my 1st), during my 8th month, i had started some contractions in sunday morning at 11 am onwards. Gradually, grown to gastric kind of inconveniences. i thought it was a gastric issue. that was around 12 noon. so, i took my lunch at 1pm and still no improvement. So, i tried to clear my bowel by toileting. Still started mild pain around 2pm. i neglected it as i was totally unaware of this. i was in my native where there was no medical facility and no doctors during sunday. i must travel to city to get treated. So, i just took some hot and cold drinks to get rid of pain. Gradually, the pain increased, around 5pm, i had strong contractions and pain similar to gastric pain for every few seconds periodically. I was asking my parents to take me to some doctor. from morning onwards, i didnt get any movements in the baby. So, i was frequently toiletting from afternoon. Till 8pm, i was at home, confused what to do. big mistake i did in my life ignoring these contractions and pain. Finally, around 8pm, the plug came off and bleeding started. Then, i rushed to hospital and taken to City finally, Till 9:30pm, the baby was alive in the womb (confirmed by a hospital and asked me to take to city hospital). By the time i reached the city hospital in the ambulance, the complete abruption happened and the baby was no more. After 10:30pm, i delivered the baby through VBAC.
This was my brief history:
My questions here are:
1. Why abruption happened. is it because of ignoring the contractions and pain. Is this because ignoring the prolonged labour from 11 am to 8pm.. nearly 9 hours, i could able to bear the pain.. Even the delivery pain (labour pain), i t was very much bearable.. i didnt even shout or cried.
2. Or the pain due to abruption is going to cause now here. ??

Please Note: i didnt had accident, hit to the stomach, or BP. i was normal.. no gestational diabetes. But, i was 33 years old that time.

Thanks for the answers in Advance.
