I have a infected pimple that is red, painful and hard with a white top on it. I went to the Medical
Assistant or PA and she gave me antibiotics and told me to take sitz baths and if it does not resolve itself in a few days she plans to lance it and pack it with medicine. Should this be done by her or a speciality doctor a surgeon or female doctor?
