Dear Dr. I am a woman, 77 years old. On January 8, 16 I got a colonoscopy, the diagnostic was internal hemorrhoids and prolapsed a colon. Gastroenterology Dr. recommend to me take Mira-lax, fiver, and keep my feces running out, I am doing it but for a 2 weeks on nights when I am sleeping I feel a burning sensation in the left side of my abdomen around the pelvis, I am scare of this situation, my Doctor refuse to send mi to surgeon because he told me this a dangerous surgery for me.
