Dentist prescribed Peridex 0.12% solution this past Wednesday. I've been rinsing twice a day since. I awoke this am with with swelling of my face, neck that seems to have worsened. I checked the ingredient list and see it uses Saccarin I don't do very well with artificial sweeteners, tough numbness. Etc. so I usually avoid them. I'm going to stop this rinse and watch if it improves. Should I be more concerned i.e. Emergency room visit?
