Dera Doctor, I Am 62 And Treated With Tretinoin For

Dera doctor, I am 62 and treated with tretinoin for my cistyc acne and wrinkle with a positive result. I live in China and actually I cannot purchase tretinoin. I have to wait. Now I found in my storage a tube of Differin 3% never opened, but expired on Jan 2015. Can I use it? probably less effective, but not dangerous. Am I right? many Thanks!
