Diagnosed By GP With Myositis 7 Months Ago. Still Waiting

Diagnosed by GP with Myositis 7 months ago. Still waiting to see consultant. Could be another year. (I live in Ireland). CK levels always raised - up to about 230 max. Taking Prednisolone 5mg daily for this - reduced from 12.5 at beginning, but cant seem to get below 5 mg - when I did drop it too fast I got Shingles.
Have been taking Ramipril 5mg for about 8 years (Im 67 yr old female). Recently had dosage increased to 10mg.
I am currently just under 10 stone. Pretty good food. Walk 1.5 hrs daily for last 5 years. Now I am a wreck - desperately tired and one lower leg just a weak as ever just exactly as I was 8 months ago when this all started. I had my gall-bladder out in middle-age.
Im wondering if all these drugs are interacting. Previously I would never even take an aspirin and believe in the strength and wisdom of the body to sort itself out.....if left alone ! Can I drop all these drugs, even if I am staggering a bit, and get everything checked again when Ive been off them for a few months ? Sorry this is so long! Thank you.
