Diagnosed With TOC Due To Symptoms, X-rays, Nerve Conduction Study

Diagnosed with TOC due to symptoms, x-rays, nerve conduction study and Dopple ultrasound due to bilateral cervical ribs. One on left has a rubber articulates with rib, one on right is almost as long and grew toward the front but stopped short of articulation. Also broke clavicle as a child and injured shoulder and had debridement and bone resection in left shoulder. Issues are pain in left clavicle and left upper shoulder. Tried PT sessions and exercises without good results. Still able to work, move arms, carry stuff. Only issue is pain. Taking OTC pain meds daily. My GP says standard of car is to have extra ribs removed. But the operation sounds horrendous. Should I go see a Thoracic surgeon to get advise on thrombosis risk?
