Diagnosed With A Stress Fracture In Foot Two Weeks Ago.

Diagnosed with a stress fracture in foot two weeks ago. Was put in a boot and crutches with no weight bearing. The last few days pain has become very sharp be stabbing. Also yesterday and today my foot has become swollen and bruised. Is this normal two weeks after a break? Is it normal for symptoms to be getting worse?
