Diagnosed With Diverticulosis April 2017. Last Six Months Digestion Has

Diagnosed with diverticulosis April 2017. Last six months digestion has slowed with periodic bouts of constipation and occasional right side tenderness....but not especially painful. children's dose of OTC laxative gets my system back on track. Have moved main meal to middle of day which has helped me to "process" better. I suspect right-side diverticulitis? I have read that this is rare and that diverticular complications are usually left side. Thoughts?
