Diagnosed With Mild COPD And Possible Asthma 2years Ago Had

Diagnosed with mild COPD and possible asthma 2years ago
Had a bout of bronchitis, laryngitis, sinusitis with possible strep (no culture taken) 3 months ago
Treatment was Prednisone and a 10 day round of strong antibiotic
After 2 weeks symptoms persisted but now with dizziness upon coughing
Began another 10 day round of a strong but different antibiotic
Again in 2 weeks symptoms still persist
Treated with Symbicort inhaler although told lungs sounded clear of bronchitis
1 week ago pain started in left side of chest with coughing
Went for lung X-ray and pulmonary function test this past Monday
Upon the first deep breath and exhalation I immediately lost orientation but did not completely pass out (I was told)
Was given a chance to recover and proceeded test again
Same result occurred as before but lasted a little longer
My lips were numb and feet tingled, thinking wasn't clear
Test were stopped, my dr was called who instructed them to take me to ER
Ekg blood work and chest X-rays clear
ER physician called my dr with results Acute upper respiratory infection
My PCP ordered another 7 days of Prednisone (14 days pushed into 7) continue symbicort
If not improved by tomorrow wants to refer me to a pulmonologist
Coughing and sputum production seems slightly improved but dizziness and chest pain still present upon coughing as well as I've noticed it during hiccups and inhaling today
I am not a smoker nor have I ever smoked nor am I around smokers
I've had a history of chronic bronchitis until 1993 when after a flu shot and pneumonia shot given at the same time it ceased...until 3 months ago
I know this is lengthy but trying to give you all pertinent facts
What is happening with me??
