Diagnosis shingles and have taken 14 of 21 tablets - one three times a day of Valacyclovir HCL 1 gram tablets. Today I am developing a bump on my upper eyelid and just under the eyebrow. Symptoms of shingles started with scalp itching which progressed within 48 hours to noticeable red bumps which are at the blister point. Should I still be developing bumps? Is the Valacyclovir working for me? I am a healthy, athletic male working lots of hours.
