Discussion: Heterogeneous echogenicity with some minimal cystic change at various levels is present in both thyroid lobes. Isthmus has similar appearance minus cystic change. The cystic collections are small, measuring less than 0.5 cm. The right
lobe measures 6.1 x 1.7 x 2.6 cm in the left measures 5.9 x 2.1 x 2.0 cm. No dominant solid nodule is identified. What does this mean?
