Do Antacids Intake Affect Blood Sugar Levels?

Considering the fact that over the counter antacids contain dextrose, would their usage in the early morning hours affect blood sugar significantly? I had a Basic Metabolic Panel blood draw for a physical. It showed elevated blood sugar (102 mg/dL). I was fasting the previous night but had an attack of indigestion and took several tums through the night.
