Do Chloasma Patches Change In Colour And Size?

I have what I think is a cholasma patch on my face (left cheek) which has recently developed tiny lumps and has changed from brown to more of a red colour. I have just started using Thiospot as have been doing research and many people find this product helpful. Is it normal for cholasma patches to get bigger, change in colour or texture?
