Do Diabetic Medications Lead Reduction Of Body Fat?

Diabetes confirmed 3 yrs back and I started using medication(metformin) for the past 4 months..now started using glycomet gp.5 in mrrning and metformin 500 mg at night.my problem is that i am loosing so much of fat from my body consisyently.my waist. Size comes down to 32 from 36.my chest area and buttocks almost looks flat now.fats around things legs are lost...so what should i do to improve my body fat..is there any other serious issues that i should check out.when i asked the doctors they answer its due to diabetes.my sugar level are fasting 130, and after food it is around 160 pls giv me a reply .i am 29 now and planning for my marraige .this issue is giving me lot of stress in my mind..so pls do reply
