Do Hormonal Changes During Menopause Cause Grover Disease?

I have some red bumbs around my waist line, breast bone and lower back. (they don't itch) The Dermatologist did a biopsy and said I have Grover disease. She basically said they don't know what causes it or how to cure it. She prescribed an ointment Desoximetasone. It hasn't done much.
Is this something that could be related to hormones (I am going through menopause) or is it a vitamine deficiency? Would it help me to get blood work done and see if I am inbalanced in some way?
