Do Irregular Periods And Irregular Flow During Periods Suggest Onset Of Menopause?

hi i don't know what to think my mom died when I was 20 so i can't ask her about her past health history so here my question I think I'm starting menopause my periods got shorter then for the last couple of months nothing then last night I started to bleed not a lot. what does this mean do I need to go see my doctor or not?
