Do Lipotropic Injections Work?

I m inquiring about lipotropic injections, do they really work or am I wasting my money? Another question is, I m a melanoma survivor and am always very pro-active in making sure I didn t use any chemicals and was wondering if the ingredients of the injections are an issue for me. Thank you
