Do Problems In Kidney Cause Swelling In Hands And Legs?

I have been dx with hydronephorisis and have swelling in both kidneys and uterers. My problem is that I have massive leg cramps. To where they disturb my sleep and normal routine during the day. I also get them in my hands, neck and shoulder blade area. Could this be do to my kidneys.
