Doc, I am a 68 year old woman with high blood pressure, controlled by medication. Amlodopine. My shins are sore to the tough, retain water, even with a "Water Pill" and one side is covered with a rash. Looks like cellulitis, but is not. Walking makes the leg break out in bright red welts which vanish after a day or so. My doctor looked at it and said he didn't know what it was but thought it was cellulitis, well that didn't check out with the doctor he sent me to. Over the past summer I had a leg blood pressure test which came back borderline low. I was told to check it out but don't know where to go. - Anne marie azimi
