Doctor, I Had Unprotected Sex With A Woman Off Undetermined

Doctor, I had unprotected sex with a woman off undetermined status almost six weeks ago. For the last three days I have had several symptoms commonly associated with ARS: high fever, sore throat, night sweats, swollen lymph nodes in my neck, and general muscle pain. Today I was diagnosed with strep. My doctor took the swab. I'm waiting until my 12 week mark to get tested. My question is this: Is the streptococcus bacteria associated with ARS or does the strep diagnose mean that my symptoms are most likely associated with strep and most likely rule out ARS?
