Doctor, My Cardiologist Recently Suggested That I Needed To Take

Doctor,
My cardiologist recently suggested that I needed to take a folic acid supplement, but I neglected to ask what level/dosage. I'm 63 with no cardio problems, treated high blood pressure, and no other serious health issues. Any suggestions, or should I just give him a call after the holidays?
