Doctor My Mother Is Suffering From High Fever And Joint

Doctor my mother is suffering from high fever and joint and muscle pain , than on medical test the cause found to be typhoid . Than after medication the fever has gone completely but the muscle and neurological pain ( pain in veins ) is reported by her. Doctor's say it continues for several months..

What can I do ..need help.
