Does Amoxicillin Or Steroid Cause Redness In Cheeks?

I took my 3 year old son to the doctor last Friday. He was put on amoxicillan and a steroid for croup and his ears & throat were red. He has also had a cough. My concern is that his cheeks have been very red since Sunday and I'm concerned that it might be a reaction to the medicine. He has had amoxicillan before and the steroid.
