Does Duphaston Help To Treat Infertility?

HI, i am planning for pregnancy,i consulted doctor and i told i have irregulator preriods from last 2 months.she suggested me duphaston 10mg daily one tablet from the 11 th day of my period for 15 days and my ovulation occured on 11th day of the period and suggested me to do intercourse alternate days for one week. so it will help o get pergnancy this month?
