Does Duphaston Intake Delay Periods?

I am trying to conceive..My gynae told me to start Duphaston after 2 days of Ovalution. I took it for next 10 days 2 tabs in a day. I stopped the medicine on 1st Dec and my period was due on 2nd Dec...Till today I didn t get my periods as well pregnancy test is negative. Please suggest if the duphaston can delay the periods for how many days or still there are chances I will be pregnant
