Does HPT Show Accurate Result?

I have the syptoms of preganacy: nausea, swollen tender breasts with discharge, headache, slight vaginal discharge; however I have not missed a cycle. I took two store bought tests and both were neg. How accurate are store bought preg. tests? Is it possible to get a neg. result and still be pregnant?
