Does Immunoglobulin Injection Reduce The Elevated IgE Levels?

Hi Doctor, I am 29 years old married female. I am suffering from severe allergic reaction in my skin from the past 3 years. I am prone to heat, pressure, specific foods. The allergy would take an hour to a day to subside. One of the doctor I consulted asked to do a IgE test which came back with level more than 1000. Doctor has advised to take Immunoglob injection and it should be taken between the skin layers. Please advise me on how to proceed. Should I take the injection? Will I have any side effects?
