Does Kenalog Injection Cause Skin Discoloration?

hello, i had kenalog injection december last year for a keloid scar which is on the back side of my left leg. The injection was inserted directly into the keloid but after a few weeks i noticed that the area around the scar became much lighter than my skin and its kind of deep. Pls, is the normal with kenalog injection? how long will this discoloration last?
