Does LASIK Help Restore Eyesight?

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I was wondering if Lasik would help me restore my eyesight because I was 12 when I looked into the tv screen and made my eyes go from 20-20 to -3.00 for the left eye and worse for the right eye -3.75. so from normal I ve turned nearsighted...It is difficult to see in the dark as well.
