Does Methocarbamol Causes Urine Retention In Body?

I am have neck surgery in 4 days to remove disc .screws,and mental disc will be put in.My Dr. Has written prescription for methocarbamol 750 mg tabs to be taken 3 x day.I have taken. soma 350 mgs for last 8 years stopping in Dec. (3 months ago) due to urine retention.Will methocarbamol do the same? I have Systemic Lupus DX. In 1986 when I had pericardist.Muti organs involved since.
