Does Mifegest Help To Terminate Pregnancy?

Hi. My wife did not had period for first month and after that she pregnancy test which came positive. She took mifegest kit . Bleeding started and continued for 10 days. When it stopped she again had pregnancy test which shows one dark red line and other fainted. Doctor recommended to take 4 small tablets from mifegest kit. We want to know is it safe to take and will it remove the pregnancy
