Does Mirena IUD Increase Risk Of Blood Clotting With History Of Pulmonary Embolism?

I have had pulmonary embolisms before, they developed a year ago... I have not quit smoking yet, and i recently had the mirena iud placed... does this increase my risk of more clotts? honest facts please, i know smoking is unhealthy but i will quit on my own terms.
