Does Mirena Insert Cause Allergic Skin Rashes All Over The Body?

I had mirena inserted after my first pregnancy. Within 3 months I started to break out all over my body in itchy red spots that would turn dry & peel. I was soon diagnosed with psoriasis. I know two other girls who had the same thing happen. They had mirena inserted & soon after were diagnosed with psoriasis. Is this a normal side effect? I had to have mine removed because the pain of the psoriasis was so bad it was effecting my every day life.
