Does Penicillin Help In Treating Gonorrhoea Along With Strep Throat?

On Thursday 2/12 I was with a male and gave him a few blow jobs. He was uncircumcised and at 1st had a fishy smell coming from under his foreskin. On Saturday I woke up with a bad sore throat and body aches. I went to Dr. Today, never told him about the sexual activity. He diagnosed me by just looking at my throat and not swabbing me with strep throat. He RXed penicillin, Researching a bit more I found out that Gonorrhea may present itself as strep throat. Will the course of penicillin I have been rxed take care of it if it is. Or should I return to doctor and tell him about my sexual activities?
