Does Saint Vitus Dance affect the heart and present later in years? I had it at age 7 and have had an irregular heart beat, which is under control with a medication. My oldest sister had rheumatic fever when I came down with the Saint Vitus Dance and is also having major heart problems now. We are both now in our 70's.
