Does Vyvanse Help In Treating ADHD?

As I have been getting older, I have demonstrated more and more signs and symptoms of having ADHD. I have tried generic ritalin and that had minimal effect. I did try vyvanse and the immediate effect was tremendous. I was able to focus, concentrate and not feel all over the place. However, my treating physician is very conservative and against prescribing medications as a whole. I truly believe that vyvanse would really help my behavior and disposition.
