Does Warfarin Cause Heavy Periods?

I am on warfarin, 52 years of age and have had heavy periods since taking warfarin. I am obviously in the middle of menopause and my periods have become erratic in time and length. I missed the last two and now this current one has been for over a month but not as heavy as before at any time during the month. I kept thinking it would go away. No pain, no cramps, a few small clots, I have an appointment with my doctor in more than a week from now. Should I panic and make an appointment sooner? I am overweight approx. 210 lbs, have homozygous Factor V Lieden, lupus anticoagulate and possible Protein C deficiency. I am well-managed Type 2 diabetic on Metformin.
