Does A Breast Lump With Pain And Tenderness Need Immediate Medical Attention?

I have had a bump in my breast for over a month now and it hurts or is tender off and on throughout the weeks. I have an appointment scheduled with an OB/GYN in a little over two weeks. I'm not sure if I should go somewhere else to get this checked out immediately or if I could wait until my appointment. Thank you
